Zero Forcing Duel โ€” play the paper's actual two-player graph-coloring game
arXiv:2608.04579 ("A Two-Player Zero Forcing Game") defines a game where two players alternately seed vertices on a graph in their own color, and "zero forcing" propagation fires automatically each turn: any colored vertex with exactly one white neighbor forces it to flip. The paper proves the resulting game number Z_g(G) is always within a factor of 2 of the classical zero-forcing number Z(G). This demo builds that exact game: you play Alice against a greedy AI Bob on path, cycle, star, and complete graphs at n=3–9 (the paper's own verification range), cascades fire live on a click-to-seed canvas, and a running scoreboard benchmarks your realized seed count against a brute-force-computed Z(G) and the proven 2·Z(G) bound — the interactive mechanic literally is the theorem. Won a 3-way build-off over Chromatic Sandbox (a polished unit-distance-graph 4-coloring toy whose own docs concede the in-browser graph isn't guaranteed to need 5 colors, undercutting its central "aha") and Living Helix (a visually striking cooperative-nucleation polymer simulator with no player objective) — Zero Forcing Duel won on the tightest link between its mechanic and the paper's proven claim.
