There was no turning point — Connor led from the first snap to the last in a 45–10 demolition.
cryo set the tone early and never gave it back. Playing at a relentless tempo, the home side jumped ahead and then pulled away before the half on a dominant middle stretch, stacking scores while czz stalled possession after possession. czz simply had no answer for the pace, and every time they tried to counterpunch, cryo already had the next drive rolling. The biggest run of the game belonged entirely to cryo, blowing a one-score gap into a rout. Even with turnovers running roughly even, the tempo gap made it a 38–13 laugher.
dan ended this one before halftime. Behind sheer volume, dan.k.memes built a huge first-half lead — up around three scores at the break — while playing a clean, mistake-free game (zero turnovers all night). From there dan simply coasted, content to trade possessions and bleed the clock. Fez was actually the more efficient side and put together a few nice drives, but it didn't matter: he coughed it up four times, and every giveaway killed any momentum a comeback needed. dan protected the ball, protected the lead, and closed it 31–20.
An early jostle gave way to an anurag takeover. After one early lead change, anurag found his footing and blew it open with a decisive middle run, stacking scores to lead by two-plus at the half while sumin's offense went quiet. The home side didn't fold — sumin mounted a mild second-half push and put a couple of drives together — but anurag always had the answer and the margin never got tight enough to sweat. It was a controlled, comfortable 30–20, the kind of game where the winner led by so much at the break that the fourth quarter was a formality.
The closest-feeling game on the slate, and the only true back-and-forth. The lead changed hands three-plus times, and it was tied-ish at the half with neither side able to build separation. xpoes, playing a man short with Rohan G inactive, refused to go away — a spirited run kept the short-handed dog right in it deep into the second half. But Gid found the difference where it mattered most: red-zone efficiency down the stretch, cashing in the drives that counted while xpoes had to settle. Gid pulled away late to win it 27–20.
The upset of the week. ChessFun took the field without its star, Eric L inactive, and jonathan pounced — surging to a halftime lead the favorite could never fully erase. It was a scrap, with the lead trading hands three times, and jonathan did everything it could to give it back: seven turnovers, a nightmare ball-security day that kept ChessFun breathing. But without Eric L, ChessFun simply had no answer to jonathan's first-half surge and couldn't convert the giveaways into the lead. jonathan held on, mess and all, for a 24–17 stunner.
